The Siemens 6DD1601-0AH0 ITDC expansion module integrates auto-reversing, current control, and a 400 Hz gating unit for line-commutated 6-pulse drive converters, serving as a direct replacement for the PG16. It connects to SITOR power sections via a dedicated interface and mounts onto a PM5 or PM6 CPU module. The unit supports both 5V (RS485/push-pull) and 15V (HTL) incremental encoders with zero-pulse detection up to 1 MHz, selectable via DIL switch S1. With two analog outputs, four binary inputs, and four binary outputs, it reduces cabinet space and external components.
