IC200MDL330 is a discrete output module manufactured by GE Fanuc for its VersaMax Series. It provides 16
isolated outputs and sends control signals to important devices such as contractors, indicator lamps, and interposing
relays. The IC200MDL330 requires a carrier base (IC200CHSxxx) and an external power supply. This is provided by
the120 Volt AC and takes care of switching power to the loads. Intelligent processes are performed by the CPU or NIU.
The on/off state of the output points is indicated by individual logic-driven green LEDs. These LEDs are independent of
the condition of the load. The green OK LED turns ON when backplane power is present.
When wiring IC200MDL330 outputs to inductive loads, use of external suppression circuits is highly recommended.
During thermal derating, the number of points that can be on at the same time depends on several factors, including
external voltage, ambient temperature, and the orientation of the module and DIN rail.
