The Bently Nevada 990-04-70-03-00 Vibration Transmitter is a two-wire, loop-powered device designed for OEM applications involving centrifugal air compressors, pumps, motors, and fans. It accepts signals from a 3300 NSv proximity probe system and converts shaft vibration measurements into a standard 4–20 mA output, providing real-time vibration data for machinery control, protection, and condition monitoring systems. With a full-scale measurement range of 0–4 mils pp (0–100 μm pp), it delivers accurate and reliable vibration monitoring in compact industrial installations.

The transmitter features an integrated Proximitor Sensor, dynamic vibration and gap voltage outputs for diagnostics, adjustable zero and span settings, and a built-in test input for simplified calibration and verification. Its Not OK/Signal Defeat circuit helps prevent false alarms caused by sensor faults or loose connections, while the potted construction ensures reliable operation in high-humidity environments. Compatible with the compact 3300 NSv proximity probe system, the 990-04-70-03-00 is particularly well suited for machinery with limited installation space and demanding operating conditions.
