ABB Launches High-Performance Industrial Controller Module PM864AK01 3BSE01816R1, Boosting the Upgrade of Intelligent Manufacturing

In May 2025, ABB, the global leader in power and automation technology, announced the of its latest high-performance industrial controller module – the PM864AK01 3BSE018161R1. This product, which is of ABB's AC 800M series, serves as the core processing unit of the 800xA system and is designed to meet the needs of modern industry for high reliability, powerful processing capabilities, and flexible communication.

The PM864AK01 3BSE018161R1 is equipped a dual-core ARM Cortex-R4 processor, featuring a clock speed of up to 800 MHz, along with 4 MB RAM and 32 MB storage, ensuring efficient data processing and real-time control in complex industrial environments. 
The module supports a variety of communication interfaces, including Ethernet, PROFIBUS DP PROFINET IO, Modbus TCP, and EtherNet/IP, facilitating integration with various devices and systems for efficient data exchange. 
In terms of design the PM864AK01 3BSE018161R1 is built with high reliability and self-diagnostic capabilities, capable of stable operation a temperature range of -25°C to  60°C, adapting to various harsh industrial environments.
