3300/12 is the ac supply installed in the left-most position of a compatible 3300 rack. It converts the selected 115 or 220 Vac input range into regulated dc voltages for the rack monitors and their connected transducers, with an input line-noise filter provided as standard.
3300/12 must be matched to the power-input module, fuse/input selection, backplane generation and transducer-voltage requirement. The supply also provides the rack OK relay path, so loss of primary power or an internal supply problem must be included in the machinery-protection alarm strategy.
One module supplies as many as 12 rack monitors and their associated transducers in the documented configuration.
The input can be configured for the documented low- or high-voltage range using the required jumper and fuse arrangement.
A normally energized SPDT OK relay is located at the Power Input Module for external annunciation.
A mechanically fitting supply may have the wrong voltage selection or may be used with an incompatible backplane. Verify the complete 3300/12 option, fuse, PIM and 3300/05 generation before applying primary power.

Use the correct primary fuse and input selection, then route the normally energized OK relay to an external annunciator so loss of rack protection is visible.
The 3300/12 belongs with a later SDI/DDI-compatible backplane; verify the 3300/05 rack option and System Monitor before retrofit.
The manufacturer documents field changeover by the correct soldered jumper and external fuse. Have qualified personnel verify the PIM, jumper, fuse and incoming voltage before the rack is energized.
Isolate power and check the selected input range, external fuse, PIM wiring, module seating and backplane compatibility. Do not keep replacing monitor cards until the primary and regulated supply voltages are confirmed.
Do not assume that it can. The compatibility guide separates original and SDI/DDI backplanes and states that old and new power-supply/backplane generations cannot be mixed.
Identify every installed transducer family and the required -18 or -24 Vdc supply, then confirm the individual monitor configuration. Change the setting only when the complete rack load is known.
Use the normally energized OK relay at the Power Input Module with an external annunciator as recommended by the manufacturer. Test the alarm path during commissioning rather than relying only on the rack front panel.
Provide the complete suffix, input voltage, fuse/PIM arrangement, 3300/05 rack code, System Monitor, approval option and photographs of the existing supply and rear connections.
