3300 Monitoring System
Send the full nameplate, rack or system context, required quantity and destination. We will review the exact identity before quotation.
3300/03 is the enhanced System Monitor family used to coordinate rack status, controls and data access in later 3300 configurations. Its suffix identifies whether the unit is an enhanced basic monitor, Serial Data Interface or Dynamic Data Interface version.
3300/03 is selected as part of a system combination rather than as an isolated front module. Backplane generation, 3300/12 or 3300/14 power supply, monitor firmware and the external communications arrangement must agree before the rack can exchange dependable status and measurement data.
The family covers enhanced basic, SDI and DDI roles through distinct suffix versions.
It scans monitor information and provides the system-level interface required by the configured 3300 architecture.
The enhanced basic version can be upgraded only within the manufacturer-documented SDI/DDI configuration rules.
The -01, -02 and -03 versions have different data-interface roles. Confirm the complete catalog number, backplane option, communications processor and monitor firmware before installation.

Select SDI or DDI hardware according to the external processor and host-data requirement; interface jumpers and cabling must follow that arrangement.
A later System Monitor does not by itself convert an old rack. Backplane, power supply and individual monitor firmware remain part of the upgrade boundary.
Only through a documented system combination. Identify the complete 3300/03 suffix, backplane option, power supply and monitor firmware; changing the System Monitor alone does not establish SDI or DDI compatibility.
Check that the replacement has the correct SDI or DDI role, then verify interface jumpers, external processor type, cable and rack address. A working local display does not prove that the data-interface configuration matches.
Do not mix old and new backplane/power-supply generations by assumption. Compare the rack option with the compatibility table and use the specified 3300/12 or 3300/14 arrangement for an SDI/DDI system.
Compare the complete suffix, backplane generation, power supply, communication processor, rack addressing and each monitor’s firmware. Move the module only when the full system combination matches.
Inspect slot configuration, data addressing and the firmware of the affected monitor, especially six-channel temperature modules that change the data map. Correct the configuration before replacing field sensors.
Send the full suffix, 3300/05 rack code, power-supply model, interface processor, protocol requirement, monitor inventory and label photographs. Ask for the exact interface role rather than a generic 3300/03.
