1900/65 is a general-purpose Bently Nevada equipment monitor for essential and balance-of-plant machinery. It combines four vibration inputs and four temperature inputs with configurable alarm relays, recorder outputs and buffered dynamic-signal outputs in a standalone monitoring platform.
1900/65 supports skid, OEM and plant installations that need local machinery monitoring without a 3500 rack. Windows-based configuration software defines input processing, measurement variables, alarms and output behavior, while optional display and enclosure arrangements support different installation locations.
Eight sensor inputsCombines four vibration channels with four temperature channels in one monitor. |
Configurable alarm outputsProvides six relays whose logic can be assigned to the required monitored conditions. |
Local and remote visibilitySupports an optional display installed locally or at the manufacturer-defined remote distance. |
The monitor can process several sensor and measurement arrangements. Moving an old configuration without confirming sensor type, measurement variable, scaling and relay logic can produce plausible but incorrect indications. Back up and review the configuration before commissioning.

Configuration & ProgrammingDefine every vibration and temperature input, measurement variable, alarm setpoint and relay vote in the supported configuration software. Preserve a known-good backup before editing an operating unit. |
Monitoring & ConnectivityUse the four 4-20 mA outputs for selected recorder variables and the buffered outputs for dynamic-signal access. Confirm output scaling and the receiving device range during loop checks. |
System-scope quotation: Provide the exact nameplate, connected vibration and temperature sensors, required relay functions, 4-20 mA destinations, display location, enclosure requirement and configuration backup if available.
Yes. It is designed for standalone and OEM/skid monitoring. Confirm the required vibration and temperature inputs, site power, relay actions, 4-20 mA destinations and enclosure arrangement before ordering.
The selected measurement variable or 4-20 mA scaling may not match the receiving analog-input range; loop polarity or resistance can also cause an error. Compare both scaling endpoints, then test the loop before recalibrating the sensor.
The manufacturer documents a remote-display distance of up to 75 m. Plan the approved display cable route and enclosure location within that limit, and verify the display reading during commissioning.
Connect the approved portable analyzer to the documented buffered-output point and compare the live dynamic signal with the configured channel. If the buffered signal is normal while the 4-20 mA or DCS value is wrong, continue with output-scaling and loop checks.
The relay may be assigned to a different variable, setpoint, delay or voting condition, or the external load circuit may be open. Isolate the field action, verify the configured logic and relay state, then test load power and wiring before changing the sensor.
Send the full nameplate, sensor list, required measurements, relay and 4-20 mA duties, display and housing needs, site supply, quantity and destination.
Product identity and technical statements were checked against Bently Nevada 1900/65 General Purpose Equipment Monitor product article and official fact sheet. Verify the complete installed nameplate, revision, companion components and project drawing before commissioning.
